Scope of Work - GROUPAGE EXPORT OVERSEAS

SERVICES INCLUDED:

• Consultancy and planning prior to the move
• Provision of all necessary packing materials
• Full export packing by our fully trained team of experienced movers
• Basic disassembly & assembly of furniture that doesn’t require a handyman specialist (eg. Ikea furniture, swing sets, new furniture in original packaging)
• Loading of your goods at residence based on a part-load transport
• Transportation of your shipment from the origin residence address to our warehouse near the departure port for consolidation
• Loading into the final sea container - lashing and securing the cargo
• Ocean freight to the destination port based on a consolidated container
• Normal export & import customs clearance
• Delivery to your residence at destination, including full unloading and unpacking of furniture, normal assembly of furniture that was dismantled at origin.
• Removal of packing debris on the day of delivery (if any)

SERVICES NOT INCLUDED:

• Insurance: which can be arranged at an additional cost 3.5% from declared value
• Quarantine and customs inspection if applicable
• Duties and any other taxes raised by the customs authorities both at origin and destination including customs inspection and associated charges
• Demurrage charges and port storage charges if applicable
• Warehouse storage-related charges
• Additional volume Additional collection or delivery addresses
• Unpacking of boxes table-top
• 2nd removal of debris after delivery
• Parking fines at origin and destination, parking permit, unless specified otherwise
• Shuttle service due to narrow or difficult access to residence
• Long carry over 10 meters / stair carry over the 1st floor / inside elevator charges
• Handyman / Maid-services / Uncrating Services
• Handling of heavy items such as a piano, safe, motor vehicle or any other heavy items unless specified otherwise
• Use of special external lifting equipment
• Electricity, plumbing or carpentry work
• Weekend/Out-of-Hours Work
